You can resist Jesus. You can respond to Jesus. But you cannot remain neutral about Jesus.

In Acts 13, the entire city gathers to hear the gospel, and two radically different responses emerge. Some rejoice, believe, and are filled with joy. Others grow jealous, reject the message, and drive Paul away. The same gospel that melts one heart hardens another.

Why? Because our biggest problem isn’t a lack of evidence. It’s often the presence of pride.

This message tackles one of the most consequential questions in human history: What will you do with Jesus? If He really is Lord, neutrality is not an option. His resurrection demands a response.

The gospel still divides, still transforms, and still spreads. The question is: will you resist or respond?

  • Everyone will be dressed in what’s comfortable. Some people rock button-ups. Others T-Shirts. If you look extra snazzy, more power to you. Feel comfortable to be yourself.

  • Each weekend we gather to hear fresh, relevant, teaching from the bible that will impact your real life. We speak to non-christians and christians alike because we’re a church that exists for the West Valley. A band leads us in a time of musical worship to Jesus. We have response times where people can go be prayed for, take communion (eat bread and drink juice remembering what Jesus did for us), or give to the mission.

    If you’re new, we don’t pressure you to do things like take communion or give money. We actually don’t want you to. We give as a church to create space for you. We genuinely care about you and you’re our valued guest.

  • We are a non-denominational church but anchored in the Historic Christian Confessions, imbued by the wisdom of Christian history, and affiliated with doctrinally sound Christian networks: Vision Arizona, Flatirons Church Planting Network, and Strategic Launch Network.

    We joke that we’re bapti-costal because we’re serious about robust verse by verse bible teaching and passionate Spirit-filled living. We believe the Spirit is at work bringing about order and beauty in the life of Christians the same today as in the early church because He is unchanging.

    All followers of Jesus are called to advance the mission by making disciples. This can look like sharing your faith, inviting someone to church, or simply living like Christ to show how worthy He is.   • Yes! Our middle school students meet during the 11:00 AM service in the Shadow Ridge Cafeteria, and our high school students meet Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM at Grace Point Church.
