WE VALUE PEOPLE OF ALL AGES AND LIFE STAGES.
There’s no one "type” of person at The Garden. There are people that are newly married, single, divorced, engaged, with a newborn, have several kids, teenagers, college students, single parents, old and young.
There are people who’ve never been to a church and aren’t sure what they believe every week. There are also people with confident faith in Jesus. We’re a church looking to help everyone in the West Valley find hope and growth in Jesus.
WE CARE ABOUT PARENTS AND KIDS.
If you have kids, you can arrive 15 minutes early to check them in to our kids ministry. Our team is thoroughly vetted, trained, and excited to welcome your kids! There is a trained security team on site because we take keeping your kids safe very seriously.
We want kids to meet and follow Jesus. Your kids will sing worship songs, hear a message about Jesus, and have fun with kids like them. We have all classrooms from infants to fifth grade.
We’re passionate about equipping parents to raise their kids as followers of Jesus. We offer carefully selected resources for sale at our bookstore to support you. The Biggest Story Bible curriculum by Kevin DeYoung is taught in classrooms as we believe this is the one of the highest quality kids curriculum available.

Everyone will be dressed in what’s comfortable. Some people rock button-ups. Others T-Shirts. If you look extra snazzy, more power to you. Feel comfortable to be yourself.

Each weekend we gather to hear fresh, relevant, teaching from the bible that will impact your real life. A band leads us in a time of musical worship to Jesus. We have response times where people can go be prayed for, take communion (eat bread and drink juice remembering what Jesus did for us), or give to the mission.
If you’re new, we don’t pressure you to do things like take communion or give money. We actually don’t want you to because we give as a church to create space for you. We genuinely care about you. You are our valued guest. -
Great question! We are a non-denominational church because many denominations tend to become inward focused, lose passion for reaching those far from God, and stray from staying true to the sound teaching of Bible.
But that doesn’t mean we’re on an island by ourselves. No, we’re truly influenced by the wisdom of Christian history and affiliated with sound, solid Christian networks including Vision Arizona, Flatirons Church Planting Network, and Strategic Launch Network. We have accountability within our leadership locally and outside of our church nationally under those biblically solid networks.
We like to joke around that we’re bapti-costal because we’re serious about solid bible teaching like our baptist friends and singing and passionately during worship like our pentecostal friends. -
Yes! Our middle school students meet during the 11:00 AM service in the Shadow Ridge Cafeteria, and our high school students meet Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM at Grace Point Church.
