THE GARDEN CHURCH

PLAY A PART IN A BIG MOVE OF GOD

BY MAKING AN ETERNAL INVESTMENT IN A FUTURE HOME FOR THE GOSPEL.

WHY WE'RE TAKING GROUND

“….the gospel, which has come to you, as indeed in the whole world it is bearing fruit and increasing—as it also does among you…” Colossians 1:5-7

There are rare moments in history when God invites ordinary people to stand at the center of what He is doing. We believe this is one of those moments. Every week in the West Valley, we see lives transformed, families restored, and people surrender to Jesus. That is no accident. God has strategically planted The Garden here for such a time as this. But as a portable church nearing capacity, our ability to continue reaching people is limited. Take Ground is about far more than purchasing land—it's about establishing a permanent Gospel presence that will equip families, develop leaders, send churches, and create space for generations of people to encounter Jesus. The question isn't whether God is moving; it's whether we'll faithfully steward what He's entrusted to us. Together, we have the opportunity to take the next step and help shape the spiritual landscape of our generation.

We're not simply building a church, we're establishing a permanent Gospel presence that will echo into eternity.

THE POTENTIAL TO MULTIPLY

What’s happening here doesn’t happen everywhere. Over 1,700 people now call The Garden home, and 375 have been baptized. We have a choice: simply enjoy this moment, or steward it to multiply Gospel impact for generations.

THE TAKE GROUND INITIATIVE WILL SECURE 8.25 ACRES OF LAND TO:

  • Position The Garden in a strategic, high-visibility location near the 303.

  • Double our seating capacity to approximately 1,000 per service.

  • Build dedicated classrooms for kids, space for students, and facilities to equip families through conferences and training.

  • Establish The Garden not as a temporary gathering, but a permanent presence in the West Valley.

  • Provide expanded parking to welcome new guests exploring the claims of Jesus.

  • Embed the vision of The Garden into the fabric of the West Valley.

  • Ensure what we’re building creates a multi-generational impact for our kids, their kids, and long after we’re gone.

THE GOAL:
$3M RAISED
IN 3 YEARS

WHY $3 MILLION? This initiative will allow us to secure land and eventually establish a permanent home for the Gospel in one of the fastest-growing regions of our country. It is the first step toward creating a place that serves generations to come.

WHAT WILL TAKE GROUND FUND? Take Ground is a two-phase initiative. Phase One is securing the land God has entrusted to us. Phase Two is constructing a permanent facility that will become a place to gather, disciple, equip, and send people for decades to come.

HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE? We're asking every person and every family to prayerfully seek God about their part. Whether your gift is large or small, everyone has a role in what God is building. Together, our collective obedience becomes a lasting investment in eternity.

MORE THAN A BUILDING. Take Ground isn't replacing our mission, it's expanding it. We'll continue investing in church planting, global missions, local outreach, and training leaders while establishing a permanent home for the Gospel.

MORE THAN US
IMPACT THE NEXT GENERATION,

THE FUTURE AND THE MISSION FIELD.

NEXT GEN OUTREACH:
YOUNG LIFE

Ashlyn and Anthony serve as regional leaders for Young Life across the West Valley, a parachurch ministry with a proven track record of reaching non-christian students. By supporting their work, we gain meaningful presence in local schools and see students discipled by trusted, relational leaders.

Pastors in unreached and persecuted regions, such as China and the Middle East, are often unable to access formal theological training and are vulnerable to false teaching. SALT Seminary provides free, online theological and practical training to equip and strengthen global church leaders.

GLOBAL MISSIONS:
SALT SEMINARY

The Garden is committed to multiplying churches, both now and in the years ahead. We invest thousands of dollars annually in highly vetted, trained and trusted church plants launching across the Valley and in some of the hardest-to-reach cities in the United States and Canada.

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE TO GIVE?

ONE TIME GIFT + A MONTHLY COMMITMENT.

ONE TIME GIFT
This is a large upfront gift to make a huge dent initially. The idea is to give once upfront + make a commitment monthly.

MONTHLY COMMITMENT
This is a consistent amount committed monthly. For those that give or tithe at The Garden, this is an amount above beyond your monthly giving. You can do this by adding “recurring giving” and use the fund drop-down to add it to the “Take Ground”.

COMMITMENT PLEDGE CARD
New to The Garden or haven’t had the chance to jump in yet? We’d love for you to be part of what God is doing through Take Ground. Visit our Take Ground Corner on Sunday for a pledge card and envelope to drop your pledge or gift in the offering box.

Your pledge card helps us prayerfully plan and prepare for the future God is building through The Garden. To make your commitment a reality, please also set up your giving online below.
